What are goal photos?
Goal photos or wish pictures are plastic surgery after photos of the procedure in which you’re interested.
Many plastic surgeons will ask that you bring a few examples of results you love and even some you don’t to help guide your surgical plan for your plastic surgery procedure.
Why are they important?
Showing, not telling, your plastic surgeon your aesthetic goals can help eliminate some of the vague descriptions and vocabulary that can sometimes be misinterpreted.
When you have a few pictures of the results you’re hoping for and a few of the results you’re trying to avoid, you can feel confident that you and your surgeon are on the same page.
From there, they’ll be able to walk you through what’s realistically and safely possible based on your exam and your anatomy.
